Conversion Sale of Hearts’ Treasures

Out of the abundance of their hearts, people came to participate in God’s work. They came to sell or buy, or simply help out in any way they can.
Each item on sale represented a story of sacrifice and obedience to God.
“I have been wanting to participate in activities for Project Mosaic but every time, I had activities in school. Besides, I don’t have anything to give except myself – my time and skills to serve. The Conversion Sale was a perfect opportunity. I got involved – I arranged all the food items and other products on display in the most excellent way I can.”
“When we learned about the Conversion Sale, we believe we had to get involved in the work of God. We gave, not so much for its material value, but because of its worth and significance to us. We are happy to be able to give something of value to us to God.”
“Sobra ang bait ni Lord! I had no idea kung paano magagamit ang relo ko sa Project Mosaic. Through the Conversion Sale, I was able to take part in it. Kailangan lang talaga makinig kay Lord kahit masakit. I just want to know God more.”
“God does not measure our giving by the amount we give but by how broken we became to be able to give it. Indeed, the joy that comes after our surrender to His will is beyond compare.”
“The thought of giving our wedding ring for Project Mosaic came to us not because it is expensive (we did no have an idea how much it was worth), nor for its beauty. We decided to give it as a thanksgiving. We are offering a special part of our lives, our simple beginnings, our love story to God – something of sentimental value, our heart’s treasure. God gave us unspeakable joy the moment my wife handed over our wedding ring for Project Mosaic.”
“Our small group is a big inspiration to us. They encourage us in our journey with God. When we see our small group members’ commitment to God, we get inspired to also be faithful to Him.”
From a small group making necklaces out of beads: “We thought of naming our labor of love, Lifestrings. Each unique bead represented the members of our group who have different personalities, abilities, gifts and experiences. But all were united and held together by their Lifestring, JESUS. The outcome . . . simply masterpieces! “Jesus has brought us together . . . to dream bigger dreams, to see beyond ourselves.”
