A Story Like the Widow’s

Let’s just call her Naomi. She is a university professor whose income is just enough for her and her family. Being a breadwinner, she felt sad that she had no means to help in Project Mosaic. But one time she was asked to cover for a particular class and she was glad to receive extra compensation.

But when she looked inside the envelope–she cried in her heart, “Bakit ang liit nito?” She was in tears when she gave the envelope to her SG (small group) host with the phrase “to God be the glory” written on the letter envelope.

Then an opportunity came beyond her expectation. ”Sobra, ang bait ng Lord. I had no idea at all kung paano magagamit ang relo ko sa Project Mosaic.” Now through the Conversion Sale, she can take part in it. “Kailangan lang talaga makinig kay Lord kahit masakit. I just want to know God more.”

God does not measure our giving by the large amount we give but by how broken we came to be to give it. And the joy that comes aft
