Such was the day when Bread of Life Makati members ran and swam like there was no tomorrow. More stories of faith of lives given to God.
Even kids as young as 5 years old participated!
Most of those who swam completed a straight lap for the first time with the help of their fellow small group members’ cheers. Oh, that we may “spur one another in love and good cheers!”
A member who just had an operation months before the Duathlon would not let the opportunity to give to God’s work pass. She made a few laps and declared, “It is for God, why shouldn’t I?”
A young adult deficient with good sleep for days and has a hectic work schedule could not believe she ended up finishing 27 laps! “Ang iniisip ko lang habang tumatakbo, for God and for the next generation!”
