Bigger than Spidey

I love Marvel superheroes po kasi I’ve been playing it po in PlayStation with my cousins way back and I’ve also read some of my kuya’s comics before about Spiderman. Since the Spiderman movies started, I always watched them more than once in theaters. Kaya po days before the showing of Spiderman, I planned to watch it more than once. I received a lot of free movie offers from my cousins and friends.
But, I did not watch it with them because I wanted to share the moment with my family in Bread of Life – Makati who’ve waited for this movie too. I wanted to share the thrill and the suspense with them. Kasi, the moment I’ll be sharing with them was not only the beauty,and fast-paced, breath-taking story of the movie, but a vision. And it was a privilege for me to wait for that Sunday afternoon, instead of watching it on its first showing day.
And after the movie, I was given the privilege to interview the people. During our interview, I just observed that the people were smiling (was it because they enjoyed the movie, the popcorn or the cookies?) Or because they’ve been able to take part in the movement of Project Mosaic?
Most people’s reactions were “nice”, “beautiful” and that they liked the lessons of the movie. But the reactions on their faces spoke of more than just the words they uttered. It was more about the vision they caught. It was the joy of taking part in something bigger than just Spiderman. It was about seeing Project Mosaic happen.
