The Year of God’s Favor

It all started with a dream… it was the 1st quarter of 2006. Every time I look from Mosaic Lounge to the empty space across, this burden to ask the Lord to give us that space grew bigger and deeper. In my heart, I was asking Him to provide a bigger space for the church’s various ministries – Children’s, Youth, Small Group, and many more. By faith, I knew the Lord would grant the needs of His church.
October 2006 came like a gush of cold, cold water. People from Ayala Management informed us that they would be renovating Greenbelt 1 as part of their plans to connect it to Greenbelt 5. In short, they have to demolish the third level where the Mosaic Lounge, the Youth Hub and our band room are housed.
The news saddened me at first. But then I suddenly remembered my first quarter’s dream. Fueled by one of our Life Coaches’ confirmation in one of our December Dawn Watch Unbound Series, “It is the year of God’s Favor,” my faith soared all the more.
We took a leap of faith! We talked to Ayala Management and the Lord truly was with us in every step of our transactions. I must say that the whole deal was His gift to our church, all for His glory… from Mosaic Lounge to Mosaic Ministries (now known as Project Mosaic).
Indeed, we can dream big because we have a big God.
